Our Story

Born From Experience.
Built on Trust.

Threads was established in 2026, but our story began much earlier. Our Founder and Director first came to Australia as an international student, then built a career in the industry from admissions assistant through to branch manager before founding the company.

That is more than a decade of experience behind a new organisation — and it is why we understand the international student journey. Members of our team have lived it themselves.

  • Founded by an Australian graduate
  • Registered migration agents
  • Offices in Brisbane and Butwal
  • Ethical, client-centric approach

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to what students and professionals ask us most.

Is the first consultation really free?

Yes — completely free and with no obligation. We'll review your background, goals and options, and outline the best pathway forward before you commit to anything.

Which countries can you help me study in?

Australia is our core market. Our team’s international recruitment experience also covers the USA, Canada, the UK, Ireland, New Zealand, South Korea, the UAE and India — so we can match you to the destination and course that fit your goals.

Do you handle the visa as well as admission?

Absolutely. Alongside admissions, our registered migration agents prepare and lodge student, graduate, skilled and family visas — so your whole journey is handled under one roof.

Can studying in Australia lead to permanent residency?

For many students, yes. We help you choose PR-friendly courses and map a realistic pathway through post-study work rights and skilled migration (subclass 189, 190 or 491) where you're eligible.

Can I work while I study?

Student visa holders can work a limited number of hours during term, with different arrangements during scheduled course breaks. The cap is set by the Department of Home Affairs and has changed several times in recent years — check the current limit on the student visa page.

How long does the whole process take?

It depends on your intake, course and visa type, but we'll give you a clear, personalised timeline at your first consultation and keep you updated at every step.

Still have a question? We're happy to help.
